The 2026 draft order was settled here before the season: twelve managers, one hundred yards, one sealed race, the same broadcast on every phone in the league. It's on the record below. Press the button to watch it again, and scroll down to see how every slot is doing now that the games count.
No seed box, no odds settings, no re-rolls. The button replays one official draw. Same result on any phone, every time — that's the entire point.
The seed is a hash of our complete eight-season record, all twelve managers, boiled down to one code: D9EB3D9C2232F. Ryan's 2-10 in 2018 is baked into that number. So is Jack's 922-point season. Nobody picked it — the league's own history did.
Every manager carries a weight of 1.00, except Klysh at 1.04 — roughly double the odds at the first pick. Why: the record book's Pythagorean math says he's the unluckiest manager in league history, about 7 wins short of what his points earned. This is a refund, not charity, published before the race.
Every load re-hashes the history file against the sealed code. Edit one point of one season — including me — and the hash breaks, the race changes, and the page says so. The audit below re-runs ten thousand alternate draws so you can see the odds this one came from.
Across a full season, draft slot buys you almost nothing. The correlation between a manager's average draft slot and their all-time win percentage is −0.002. Ryan has the second-best average draft position in league history and sits eleventh all-time. Jack has the worst average draft position anyone's ever had and sits sixth. On a normal Tuesday in November, your slot is not the problem.
Fair point from the group chat: nobody is playing for sixth. Measured against titles instead of win percentage, slot matters more: r = −0.53. Twelve managers and eight rings is a small sample, but it isn't nothing.
Which is why the Gauntlet stays a flat lottery with one disclosed exception. Want reverse-standings order instead? That's a league vote for next year, not this page's call.
Press replay and the call comes back.
